On 25 April 2018, the 103rd anniversary of  ANZAC Day was commemorated at the Australian National Memorial, in remembrance of the Australians who fought during the First World War.

This year, the ceremony was led by Malcolm Turnbull, Prime Minister of Australia, and Edouard Philippe, Prime Minister of France, in the presence of Her Royal Highness The Prince of Wales.

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) is responsible for the commemoration of almost 1.7 million members of the Commonwealth forces who gave their lives in the two World Wars. In commemoration of the Battle of the Somme which lasted a total of 141 days the CWGC is working in association with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the Royal British Legion (RBL) to develop a programme of events across the 141Days.
