The Comédie de Picardie is organising - in Amiens and on tour throughout Picardy - a musical themed on the First World war.
 
Poems from the Anthology “Poets of the Great War”, brought together by Jacques Béal, are performed by a narrator with an English string quartet and a British tenor who were brought together during the Brighton Festival Chorus.
With the participation of the University for the Creative Arts of Rochester for the décor and costumes and directed by Jean-Luc Revol.

This musical is part of the events organised by the ACT network, which develops cross-border actions broadening access to culture, from the Somme to East Sussex and from Cambridgeshire to Ille-et-Vilaine. This operation was selected to be part of the European Programme of Cross-border Cooperation INTERREG, co-financed by FEDER.
 
The musical is on tour in Amiens and in the three departments of Picardy and forms part of the theatre decentralisation actions carried out by the Comédie de Picardie in the Somme which receives a financial contribution from the Conseil Général.
