"Petite musique de la Grande Guerre"

"The Orchestre de Cuivres d’Amiens" (Amiens’ Brass Band) will be at the Historial, Museum of the Great War, in Péronne, on Friday 18th April 2014, for a concert/presentation.
During the two hour long concert, music written between 1914 and 1918 by French composers and from composers from other countries involved in the war will be played. It will be illustrated by thought provoking photographs of French and Allied soldiers, civilians, women working behind the lines, musicians in the mud, civilians dancing at the Armistice and the parade of 11th November 1918…

Narrated band practice and history of the orchestra from 2.30pm
Concert starts at 6.30pm
