The Somme Battlefields’ Partner is a network of businesses and individuals who work in the tourism sector. It works towards enhancing the potential of this historic place, which is unique in France. It unites some 175 members from diverse backgrounds including: museums, sites of remembrance, leisure activities, tourist information centres, accommodation providers, tour guides, taxis and shopkeepers, etc. All of its members work on the Somme or in the surrounding areas, and all work to the highest standards in terms of the welcome given to visitors and knowledge of the local history.

They offer visitors a special welcome at the heart of the Somme’s battlefields : they can help you learn more about the area’s history and share their enthusiasm for the First World War.

The Somme Battelfields'Partner is a representative of our region. He or She can help organise your visit, suggest the best places to go, and tell you about unexpected and less well-know places of interest. Nothing is too much for them!

The purpose of the label is to provide a reference guaranteeing a quality welcome throughout the territory.
