In the morning : 10.30 am : The courier guide welcomes you at the Museum of the Great War in Péronne. During the visit of the museum, the guide will explain the events and mentalities of these days. An unprecedented experience, the result of an historical research campaign carried out in France, Great Britain and Germany. 12.00 : Lunch in Péronne : pack lunch : (sandwich-chips-1 drink) In the afternoon : 1.30 pm : Circuit of Remembrance (Remembrance tour of the Great War) with an English speaking guide : Thiepval, Rancourt chapel maintained by the "Souvenir Français" association, South African memorial and museum in Longueval, Pozières tank memorial, the Lochnagar Crater in La Boisselle, Australian memorial in Villers-Bretonneux, the Somme 1916 Museum in Albert... 5.00 pm : Back to Péronne, end of the day |
