The chapel of the « Souvenir français » in Rancourt symbolises the memory of the French soldiers who fought there. The cemetery is the largest French war cemetery in Somme.
In Fay, near Péronne, the remains of the former church and a farm building are still visible and show the fightings in 1915 and 1916 during the Battle of the Somme.
The « Hall of The Sole Command » in Doullens, is one of the turning points of the war : overall command of the French and British armies was given to General Foch, on 26 March 1918.
In the North of Chaulnes, in Soyécourt, there is the Wallieux Wood site where you can observe some extensive trench remains.
