An event unique in France...Running for a good cause....Running by sites where soldiers marched and fought in such difficult conditions between 1914 and 1918...
It is an event unique in France associating four races from 3 miles to a full marathon, plus the participation of Hand bike. All runners are encouraged to raise money for charity in order to buy sports wheelchairs for diabled sportsmens and women.The full and half marathon will take participants over the hallowed ground of the WW1 battlefields, going by sites where soldiers marched and fought in such awful conditions between 1914 and 1918, running past the Lochnagar Crater, the Thiepval Monument the Newfoundland Memorial Parkand the Ulster Tower.
A Marathon village will provide to the runners, families and supporters a place to relax.
